Join fashion designer, artist, and entrepreneur Isaac Mizrahi and author Caroline Weber for a conversation on her new book Proust’s Duchess, a brilliant look at the glittering world of turn-of-the-century Paris told through the first in-depth study of the three women who inspired Proust to create his supreme fictional character, the Duchesse de Guermantes. Weber is Professor of French and Comparative Literature at Barnard College and the author of Queen of Fashion: What Marie-Antoinette Wore to the Revolution.

  • Ticket holders are encouraged to arrive promptly, as seating is not guaranteed once a program has begun.

  • If your ticket was emailed to you, present the ticket on your mobile device or the print-out of your ticket.
  • Tickets purchased for events and programs at the Museum include admission to the galleries on the day of the program during regular Museum hours.
