The FunkeyMonkeys

Family Concert

Family

Sunday, November 11, 2018
11:30 am – 12:30 pm
Scheuer Auditorium

Ages 2 to 8

Get out your balloon tails and dancing shoes for the hilarious antics and soulful sounds of the beloved FunkeyMonkeys on their 15th anniversary. During this special show hear a Chagall inspired mini-musical featuring band members and guests playing multiple violins with a funky twist. Projections will highlight works on view along with Chagall paintings that beautifully illustrate his love of the violin – Chagall’s most frequently painted instrument.

Created by Joshua Sitron, composer for Nickelodeon's Dora the Explorer, the FunkeyMonkeys are a super-group of professional musicians, comedians, and teachers who deliver one-of-a kind performances. Described as "Seinfeld meets the Wiggles," or "Herbie Hancock's Vaudeville Bar Mitzvah.” Groove and giggle together with songs from the albums MustacheSing Dance and Underpants, and their original Chagall mini-musical among other favorites.

$18 General Public; $14 Jewish Museum Family Members
