Women helped to shape a uniquely American aesthetic in modern art and culture in the first half of the 20th century. Join the Jewish Museum to celebrate the respective creative visions and enterprising spirits of gallerist Edith Halpert and painter Florine Stettheimer, two women whose contributions paved the way for today’s robust contemporary art scene. Each tour is led by a Jewish Museum educator and is 1 hour in length including Q & A. Classes will take place over Zoom.

February 9: Edith Halpert and the Rise of American Art

February 16: Florine Stettheimer: Painting Poetry

February 23: Rachel Feinstein: Maiden, Mother, Crone

Tickets: $45 General; $36 Jewish Museum Members

Please note that this is a three-session class. Ticket purchase is required and includes all sessions.
