Scheuer Auditorium
Join Columbia University Visual Arts MFA candidates and recent alumni as they present new video, performance, and installation work during this live program in response to the exhibition The Sassoons, which tells the story of a remarkable Jewish family, following four generations from Iraq to India, China, and England. IN RESPONSE: The Sassoons will explore themes that are present in the exhibition – such as discrimination, colonialism, global trade, and inheritance – through artworks presented during this one-night event at the Museum.
