Opens at The Jewish Museum on November 4th

The Radical Camera: New York’s Photo League, 1936 – 1951, a formidable survey of the group’s history, its artistic significance, and its cultural, social and political milieu, will premiere at The Jewish Museum from November 4, 2011 through March 25, 2012.

Maya Zack: Living Room - Installation Evoking Everyday Life in 1930s Berlin - Opens at the Jewish Museum July 31

Release Date: June 3, 2011

Maya Zack: Living Room will be on view at The Jewish Museum from July 31 to October 23, 2011. In this installation, artist and filmmaker Maya Zack takes a Jewish family’s apartment in 1930s Berlin as inspiration for this room-sized work, using 3D technology and sound to explore the past and how it is remembered.

Photography and Filming Policy

Members of the media may photograph or film within approved areas of the Jewish Museum for the purpose of news coverage. Photo and video shoots must be approved by the Communications Department and arranged at least 48 hours in advance. All organized photo or film shoots inside the Museum require an escort by a member of the Communications staff. Please contact us for more information or to discuss scheduling a shoot.
