5 – 7 PM
Join us for a workshop that explores the exhibition Afterlives: Recovering the Lost Stories of Looted Art. Sam Sackeroff, Lerman-Neubauer Assistant Curator, will provide insight into the timelines of individual objects as they passed through collections and storage depots before, during, and after the war. Following the talk, a Jewish Museum educator will facilitate activities and a discussion of select works of art in the exhibition.
6:30 – 7:30 PM
Curator of Judaica Abigail Rapoport tells the stories of two remarkable collections of Jewish ceremonial objects that miraculously survived World War II in conjunction with the exhibition Afterlives: Recovering the Lost Stories of Looted Art.
